PRACTICE OF LAW:  Admitted to practice of law before all State and Appellate courts of the State of Alabama in 1987.  Also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Alabama, 1987, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, 1991, and before the Supreme Court of the United States in 1992.  In the private practice of law in Mobile from 1987 until 2007 when appointed Circuit Judge by Governor Bob Riley.
