EDUCATION: Spring Hill College (B.S., Cum Laude, Political Science and Studio Art 1996; recipient, Ralph McClain Social Science Award for professional promise); University of Alabama (J.D. 1999)

PRACTICE OF LAW: Served as Assistant District Attorney, Mobile County District Attorney's Office, 2000-2015. Assigned to lead domestic violence and sexual assault prosecutions for the DA’s Office during much of that time. Served as a member of the District Attorney's "Murder Team" for eight years, prosecuting violent and vehicular deaths and other violent crimes. Named Alabama Assistant District Attorney of the Year, 2014, by the Alabama District Attorney's Investigator's Association.

Appointed District Court Judge in 2015 by Governor Robert Bentley. Elected to that position in 2016, the first female to be elected District Court Judge in Mobile County. In 2018, appointed Circuit Judge by Governor Kay Ivey. First female to hold positions as both District and Circuit Judge in Mobile County.

MEMBER: Mobile Bar Association, Alabama Bar Association, Alabama Circuit Judges Association, former Board Member of Alabama Coalition Against Rape, Paul W. Brock Inns of Court, Mobile Barre.
